Rama IX Royal Park is located on Si Nakharin Road. It was opened in 1987 to commemorate King Bhumibol Adulyadej's 60th birthday Anniversary. Visitors can take a long walk in the area which comprises botanical gardens,a clean water lake, a building displaying the works and life of King Rama IX, and the landscape is beautifully decorated with many kinds of flowers. The park is open from 06:00 to 18:00 daily; admission is 10 baht.
